An idyllic spot in which to enjoy the sunshine.
Hemmel House is only two miles by car from our main site in Branton, so in no time at all you can be relaxing in the hot tub, working out in the gym, or enjoying a swim in the pool before heading back to your cottage to soak up the peace and quiet. Guests at Hemmel House are, of course, entitled to use all our leisure facilities at Branton. Whilst here you can even enjoy a coffee and piece of cake in our onsite Coffee House & Wine Bar, or as its your holiday why not enjoy one of our hand-picked wines or homemade wood fired pizza cooked on our outdoor pizza oven.
The cottage is built around a garden courtyard, providing you with an idyllic spot in which to enjoy the sunshine. While you relax, your children will love playing in the tree house and with the mini pedal tractors.
The sitting room boasts large south and west-facing windows and a stunning fireplace with a large wood-burning stove to supplement the underfloor heating for cosy nights in during the winter months. This leads through to a hall and huge farmhouse kitchen with an Aga cooker. Also on the ground floor, you'll find a downstairs wc and utility room. There is one downstairs bedroom, featuring twin beds that can be zipped into a double if required and an en-suite shower/wc.
Ample space for the kids to run free
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The main bedroom will take your breath away. It has a floor-to-ceiling arch window providing you with gorgeous views of the Cheviots. This bedroom also has a 5 foot sleigh bed and its own bathroom with a spa bath for sheer indulgence. The upstairs accommodation concludes with two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath and walk-in power shower.
With a huge private garden, there is ample space for the kids to run free and play in a safe and secluded environment, relax in your own private cedar wood hot tub, and take in some of the best dark skies in the country.
The space is well beyond what you might expect of a holiday cottage. We've paid great attention to detail to ensure it's equipped with all the latest mod cons and hope our choice of tasteful and elegant country furnishings, coupled with the impressive to die for location of Hemmel House will have you not wanting to leave.
