Sleeping up to six guests, Outer Moss is a luxury self-catering holiday cottage that provides an ideal family getaway to Northumberland at any time of the year. It’s one of our family’s favourites and its innovative design of downstairs bedrooms and an upstairs sitting room makes it a popular choice with our guests too. With views to the nearby hills, as well as easy access to the swimming pool and other leisure facilities, Outer Moss has something to offer both adults and children. It really is a very special cottage.
Stunning and elegant interiors
The interiors throughout Outer Moss are stunning and elegant. Upstairs, the cottage has a large open-plan sitting room and kitchen, with a delightful wooden dining table that can seat up to eight guests. There is a wood-burning stove, three very comfortable sofas, bookshelves full to the brim, and plenty of space for children and adults to relax and unwind. The kitchen boasts all the latest mod-cons.
Downstairs, the master bedroom has a gorgeous 5 foot sleigh bed, flat-screen TV, and a stylish en-suite with shower. There are two twin-bedded rooms, one of which has a flat-screen TV and an en-suite with shower. Finally, there is a family bathroom with bath.
Venture into the Breamish Valley
Outer Moss is situated perfectly to allow you venture into the Breamish Valley to try one of our walks designed by our in house ‘Mountain Goat’ Peter Snr. Once back you can enjoy a bite to eat from one of our themed menus in ‘The Bosk’ with handpicked wines and local ales, serving food Wed-Sun. You don’t even need to leave Branton if you don’t want to...
We do however have some amazing attractions in Northumberland and within a heartbeat you can find yourself from the top East Hill to the beautiful rolling beaches below Bamburgh Castle in just over 30mins.
